About Burghfield Sailability

Burghfield Sailing Club Sailability Group (BSCSG) is a voluntary organisation that is dedicated to bringing boating to people with disabilities on equal terms.

The team at BSCSG operate under the guidance of the Royal Yachting Association, and have trained staff who can advise on different activities that will be appropriate for almost any physical or mental disablity. We focus on what can be achieved, and not on the limitations.

All our helpers are volunteers, and none receive expenses for helping. Even the teas and biscuits are provided by the helpers.

We operate sessions using power boats for safety and pleasure trips, some of which can take wheelchairs, as well as sailing boats catering for different aspirations and abilities.

We are reliant upon people being very generous with their time, as well as people making donations to help us offer the greatest options to our clients.

If you would like more details, please contact us with the below links.

If you have not attended Sailability before OR it is your FIRST session of 2022, please download and complete the appropriate registration form and bring it with you.  All sailors and carers must complete a form before taking part.
